You Can Make A Change. Sponsor A Child Today.

Aram and Sazgar came from different families; yet, the common destiny brought them together when sponsored by MS. Betty Stratton, they became brother and sister in a small loving family of three. Here is their story!

A Special Story: Ms Betty Stratton - A KSC Sponsor

Millions of children suffer everyday from war, hunger, social insecurity, and poverty. Many never experience the privilege of childhood. We work in benefit of these children. With small deeds we can all help to make their lives a little better.

Kurdistan Save the Children/Kurdistan Children’s Fund (KSC/KCF) started their Distant Sponsorship program in 1991. For 2009 we have sponsored 1558 Iraqi and Kurdish children are , but there are still thousands who need your support.

You can sponsor a child for only £ 15 Sterling (about 30 US Dollars) per month. You will then be able to follow that child, send, and receive letters to him or her, and for some sponsors this child becomes a natural part of their extended family.

We support orphans, children from one-parent families and children whose fathers are disabled to the extent that they cannot work. The money the children receive from their sponsors goes to support their basic needs of clothes, food and hygienics, as well as pay for their education. With only a small amount per month, you can change the life of a child.

Child Sponsorship is a great way to give a child the hope of a better future. Every child deserves a life free of poverty, abuse and discrimination.  Poverty robs children of their childhood and their future. Sponsoring children can make a real, long-term difference not only to the child, but to the whole community.

When you sign up for having a sponsor child, a member of our child sponsorship department will then contact you as soon as possible. You will be e-mailed a short list with details of children who need a sponsor. Select the child you would like to sponsor and return the e-mail back to the sponsorship office.
