IDP URGENT APPEAL
In the summer of 2014 ISIS (Daesh) launched a brutal campaign across Kurdistan and northern Iraq. Hundreds of thousands of children fled their homes leaving the basic essentials at home.
Here at Kurdistan Save The Children it is out duty to protect these children through this time of hardship.
We cannot do this alone, over 1.7 million displaced people are seeking safety in the Kurdistan Region and we cannot look after them without your help.
Emergency winter relief for the freezing Kurdish Winter is vital and our teams across Duhok, Sulaimaniyah and Erbil are prioritising the distribution of warm childrens clothes, fuel, blankets and heaters for families but we need your support.
Your donations will buy food, diapers, warm clothes, blankets for children who are left with nothing.

Kurdistan Save the Children distributed 30 tons of aid generously donated by Samaritans Purse International to internally displaced children currently seeking refuge within the Sulaymaniah Governorate. KSC staff and volunteers distributed warm winter clothes to hundreds of children ahead of the cold winter season in Kurdistan.

KSC is currently implementing two projects in Barika Refugee Camp for families seeking safety from violence in Syria. The first is a children's nursery to be used as a safe place for young children to learn and play. The second is a psychological support project for individuals suffering from trauma or mental illness.

As part of KSC's Emergency Relief Program, children's clothes, diapers, milk, shoes and baby bottles were distributed to displaced children in need of these supplies in Duhok. 600 children now have warm clothes and necessities thanks to our KSC team and kind donors.
