Birthday Parties

This was the very first activity conducted by the Sector. Each month a birthday party is organized for the children who have a birthday on some day of that month. All child patients were invited to attend the party, which was conducted in the atmosphere of laughter, happiness and joy. The party is usually brought to an end by a gift giving ceremony.

The loving and caring atmosphere of the birthday parties was uplifting and contributed to raising the spirits of the children, and lifting up the sense loneliness and helplessness in their parents, who could see that there were others who cared and gave them a helping hand in the time of their affliction.
